When we're not at home in the mountains or chasing the sounds of the ocean, you can bet we're happily venturing into the desert! This last Summer/Fall 2023 we discussed that the best option for a wedding would be in Moab Utah, in 2024 with family and select friends that we could enjoy hiking, biking, and nature with!

 

Our 10-year anniversary was on the horizon, and we had our hearts set on visiting Sedona, AZ to celebrate. Little did we know; we were already pregnant and life had other wonderful plans for us.  In light of this joyful, exciting, and welcomed news, we made a quick and bold decision to turn our anniversary trip into an elopement on the memorable date of 10.02.2023 (our 10-year anniversary). It wasn't an easy choice to make; as we had always dreamed of celebrating with our friends and family. However, considering our growing family and planning for the future, it felt like the wisest path for us, as we desired to be married before having our baby.

This adventurous elopement felt like a fitting testament to our love and a perfect reflection of who we both are. Hiking to our chosen location, surrounded by the grandeur of Sedona's dramatic scenery, will forever be etched in our hearts. The serene sounds of nature served as the backdrop as we exchanged our vows – a moment that grounded us, stirred our emotions, and left an indelible impact on our souls. It is always exciting to feel a deep sense of both past & present loved ones with us in these cherished moments.
